Zune debuts in Canada [Small Review]
June 16th, 2008 Posted in Gadgets
Last Friday (yep, Friday 13) was the debut of the Zune here in Canada, and fortunately on Saturday I had the opportunity to grab the black 4GB version to play with it, and compare against my 4GB iPod nano.
Let’s start with a basic features comparison chart
| ZUNE | Ipod | |
| Capacity | 4GB | 4GB |
| Photos | X | X |
| Video | X | - |
| Radio FM | X | - |
| Wireless | X | - |
| Battery life | X | - |
| Price | 139.99 | 134.99 |
The Zune audio / video quality and navigation where pretty good, and since I’m not very ITunes lover, I consider the Zune integration with WMP good enough for me, and I really enjoy the social media approach of Microsoft media player.
Then only big downside for the Zune besides the iconic/pop culture object that the iPod has became, is the lack of third party accessories for it.

Hello.
I am one of the lucky Canadian who received a Zune for review by Microsoft.
I played with it for two weeks and now you can read my full review of the Microsoft Zune 8Gb here:
