Google Analytics slight Touch Up

October 24th, 2008 | No Comments | Posted in Marketing, Web Apps

Today, you may have noticed a little polish in your Google Analytics report interface . The layout is a little cleaner because we added some color consistency and contrast between sections in the interface so that it’s easier to distinguish between the navigation on the upper left, the help areas below that, and the report itself. We also made the controls at the top of the report (email, export, etc.) a little easier to see and identify.

Overall, the appearance is a little less busy, the lines are a little cleaner, and the important areas hopefully stick out a little more, making Google Analytics even more appealing to use.

I’m really enthusiastic about clever marketing ideas especially those that promote a good cause, as this ad to create conscience about eating disorders.

Walmart looking to renovate the brand

July 2nd, 2008 | No Comments | Posted in Marketing, Web Design

The largest retail in the world is taking serious their brand renovation strategy, changing even their logo to a more juvenile and colourful one.

The main differences between the two logos are:
• A softener font.
• Only the first letter in uppercase
• A kind of sun icon on the right.
• The transformation of Walmart in a single word removing the center star (Office still correct Walmart into Wal-Mart je je)

P.S.: The Canadian website still using the old logo :(

Lionel Rossi o Messi

May 23rd, 2008 | No Comments | Posted in Marketing
