Russian music sites

Besides all the dispute of the legality of these websites, which I think it’s hard to define since sale the contents from Russia it’s 100% legal and of course all the servers are located in Russia, I’m amazed by the difference in price of an album from a Russian site vs Amazon or Walmart.
For example the latest album from Coldplay, Viva la Vida
* Legalsounds.com [RU] = $0.99
* Mp3Fiesta [RU] = $2.14
* Amazon = $8.99
* Walmart = $9.22
So, if you aren’t really concern about The Killers receiving some of your money for they latest album Day and Age, you can go to one of the many Russian sites out there for a good deal, but I suggest you use one that accepts PayPal or use a credit card with a small limit to avoid any problem.

After a week of preparation getting the snow pants, waterproof gloves, find the right location for beginners and watching some YouTube videos of snowboard 101, finally yesterday we went to Glen Eden @ Milton to do some snowboard for the first time, and it’s was pretty good for a newbie’s like us.
After the first 25 falls we all (Laura, Francisco and I) start going down the hill in a pretty decent way, without falling.
Here is a video of Laura showing some skills
P.S.: this morning we all feel the pain of doing some snowboard for the first time.

Today I installed the recent firefox plug-in from google to obtain voice and video chat capabilities with gmail, and I may say that it works great. I use (or used?) skype for work at least during 45 minutes a day, so this is a really great thing for me, because it’s also integrate with my companies google apps account.
The video and audio quality it’s as good (if not better) than skype. Also the calls are pretty stable and options for full screen video and move and minimize your video window are good.
BUT (there’s always a but) the only thing so far in which case I prefer skype it’s the option to start or end the video in a call without ending the call.
Of course, the option of having the voice and video inside the browser makes the gmail option more appealing.
